THOUSANDS of pounds worth of gardening tools have been stolen in the Cirencester area in the last week.
Chainsaws, hedge trimmers, drills and similar items were stolen during a series of break-ins in Rodmarton and Tarlton between 10pm on Thursday, January 19 and 7am on Friday, January 20.
A Stihl chainsaw, a garden vacuum and hedge trimmer were taken in one incident, which took place in Sandpool Lane, Tarlton, at around 1.50am on Friday, when a locked cabinet on the back of a flat bed lorry was broken into.
Similar items along with drills and a grabber were also taken from two separate business premises on a farm in Rodmarton.
Police are keen to hear from anyone with information about suspicious activity in the area.
Anyone who can help the investigation or provide information about who was responsible is asked to ring police on 101 quoting incident number 65 of January 20.
