AN IMPRESSIVE crop circle off the A433 has been getting motorists in a spin this week.
Artistic pranksters have imprinted a design of the solar system in the fields of corn off the Tetbury to Cirencester road, near Tarlton.
Carolyn Ritchings, who lives in a cottage opposite the crop circle, said: "I've never seen one around here before.
"I think they are great - it's always very interesting when you see them and you wonder how they are done."
The Standard managed to get this aerial shot of the crop circle thanks to a lift from BCT Aviation at Kemble Airfield.
Crop circles are areas of cereal or similar crops that have been systematically flattened to form various geometric patterns.
They first entered the public imagination in England in the 1970s when they were made using planks and ropes.
However, paranormal explanations are still popular because the people who design the circles like to remain anonymous.
