National Colts Cup 4th Round.
Cirencester 12, Hucclecote 8.
CIRENCESTER Colts made it ten wins in a row as they progressed in the National Colts Cup at the expense of Hucclecote.
In a tight first half, Cirencester scored through a well-worked try finished off by the improving Ali Kilham.
Hucclecote came back strongly to earn a penalty towards the end of the half which left the game finely balanced at the interval.
The second half saw Hucclecote score an unconverted try to take a surprise 5-8 lead.
This score energised the home side and saw Cirencester retake the lead through a fine try scored by Scottish hopeful Alex Frame, duly converted by Tom Finnie.
Hucclecote's discipline deserted them at this point and they were fortunate to end the match with all of their players still on the pitch.
Cirencester Colts play Longlevens at home on Sunday in the County Cup kick-off 2pm.
