THE BREWERY Arts Theatre season kicks off with the Blue Healers, a fine blues duo, who perform in Cirencester on Thursday, September 16.
Australian wonder-guitarist Roland Chadwick and harmonica legend Graham Pike play blues in the Mississippi Delta tradition, with lots of virtuosity on the side.
With typical Australian disregard for convention or stuffiness, Roland is a composer/performer for classical guitar (and dobro, slide and mandolin) who blends influences from jazz, blues and Latin styles, and seems to move in and out of any musical genre at will.
This is the first time the Blue Healers have been to Brewery Arts and it promises to be a treat for all blues lovers.
