THE EVERYMAN Theatre is proud to announce its very first Sing-a-Long- Festival. Over three days the theatre will once again be heaven for anyone who's ever had the urge to burst into song in the middle of a film.
The Festival kicks off in style on Tuesday, September 21 with Sing-a-Long-a Rocky Horror Picture Show. It's the campest cult classic of all time and is well known for audiences joining in with the show.
The film, which has a 12A certificate, will be projected onto a huge screen, with the words running underneath. The costumes in the audience are likely to be just as outrageous as those on the screen - it's not a night for the fainthearted.
On Wednesday, September 22 the Festival turns to some very different dancing queens with Sing-a-Long-a ABBA.
It's the ultimate ABBA party with a live band playing all the greatest hits as the words are projected on to a screen. One lucky audience member will be crowned Dancing Queen for the evening - and there's always the fancy dress competition.
The Festival finishes on Thursday, September 23 with Sing-a-Long-a Elvis. The King of rock 'n roll isn't dead - he's leading the singing!
It's the latest smash hit show from the Sing-a-Long-a stable and the theatre will be packed with Elvis look-alikes all singing along to the on-screen lyrics.
Tickets from the box office on 01242 572573.
