MALMESBURY School moved into completely new, purpose built accommodation in March 2002. The new facilities give students wonderful opportunities to succeed in all aspects of school life. This year the opportunities for students have been further enhanced following the achievement of Specialist School Status for Science and the Performing Arts.
The school has achieved excellent examination results for several years. The Sportsmark Award emphasises the school's considerable sporting successes and it has an excellent reputation for music, drama and the arts.
The Mission Statement is "to promote learning and achievement in a supportive environment" and staff work hard to achieve this with all students. There was an excellent OFSTED report in January 2003. Inspectors commented that "students help create a happy and purposeful atmosphere". The report also highlighted that "standards in national tests and examinations are high throughout the school". They were impressed with the good relationships between staff and students and the positive ethos in the school and stressed that the school was constantly working to improve even further. This is an exciting time to join Malmesbury School, as it provides a first-rate standard of teaching to make the most of its superb new facilities.
