AN EAGLE owl may be on the loose in the Cotswolds after it escaped from its enclosure at a private address in Swindon.
The owl is approximately 3 foot tall and is capable of attacking small animals such as cats, dogs and foxes.
Its owner says it was bred in captivity and is unlikely to attack humans.
Wiltshire Police is urging the public not to approach the animal if they sight it but to call Wiltshire Police on 0845 4087000.
