A YOUNG Cotswold woman is asking for Standard readers to back her bid to reach the Miss England finals.
Bex Hibberd, from Cirencester, is hoping to receive enough public votes to win her heat of the Miss Fresh Photographic competition.
The 22-year-old, who runs a stable yard in Tetbury, was spotted by representatives of the Miss England competition at the NEC Clothes Show in Birmingham in December.
Bex was later invited down to a photoshoot in London with dozens of other contestants to pose in jeans and identical red tops for the competition.
She later heard she had qualified into heat six and may need the public vote to progress in the competition.
In each of the ten heats the three girls with the most public votes and three girls selected by the judges go through to a place in the final heat, which can lead to a spot in the Miss England finals.
Bex said: "I really enjoyed the photoshoot and if I get through it would be brilliant. I’ve always wanted to do modelling but I’m only 5ft 2ins."
To vote text ‘Bex Hibberd’ to 84205. Voting for this heat ends at 5pm on Sunday, February 28.
