A DOG owner has spoken of her relief when she was reunited with her treasured pet who had been missing for a fortnight.
Ethel Rodwell, of Stratton, was left distraught when her small Tibetan spaniel went missing from her home last Wednesday at 11.30am.
But last Tuesday, Mrs Rodwell was overjoyed when someone contacted her to say they had found Misty on the roadside of the M4 near Reading.
Mrs Rodwell, who believes Misty was dog-napped, thanked Dog Lost UK who helped to put more than 400 posters around Cirencester and nearby towns, as well as putting details of Misty on five websites.
She said: "I never lost belief Misty would return - I have been reunited with my best friend."
