CLIMATE change is not a game but an innovating Cirencester dentist has come up with a unique way to make it fun.
Jonathan Whittaker has launched the group, 999 Planet in Peril, to raise awareness of the impending climate crisis.
He and his team have devised a website complete with a number of games and quizzes to get people interacting with climate change information.
The aim is to encourage eco-warriors to join a march in London, two days before the United Nations Climate Change talks in Copenhagen in December.
"The most important thing about the Copenhagen talks is to put pressure on the delegates to take action as it will replace the Kyoto agreement," he said.
Jonathan, who runs Corinium Dental Practice in Dyer Street, said it is not enough for just individuals to take action as that will only provide 20 to 40 percent of cutbacks needed.
The march in London, known as The Wave, will be held on December 5 and coaches will be organised from Cirencester.
"We are really hoping to get a good attendance this year and I hope the games will help catch people's interest," he said.
All the games and quizzes, which have been devised around current TV gameshows can be found at www.999planetinperil.com To find out more about the march call Jonathan on 01452 615835.
