A TETBURY teenager is the envy of her classmates after getting a sneak preview of the new Harry Potter film.

Tamsin Hilliker, 14, jumped at the chance to be among the first to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince at a Leicester Square screening for cast and crew.

She attended the advanced screening with her uncle Stuart Hilliker, who also lives in Tetbury, and who mixed the sound on the film.

"It was amazing because I met all the actors," she told the Standard.

The film does not arrive in cinemas until July 15 and the Year 9 pupil at Sir William Romney’s said it was a difficult secret to keep from her friends.

"They keep asking me questions but I don’t want to spoil it for them," she said.

"It is absolutely the best Harry Potter film so far. The effects are great and the performances are really good."

And she said she was hugely proud when her uncle’s name came up in the credits and the whole audience cheered.

"The sound is fantastic," she added.
