THREE of Cotswold District council's leisure centres will benefit from new gym equipment as well as internal makeovers this summer.

Tetbury and Chipping Campden will both undergo refurbishment and receive updated gym equipment in June, whilst Bourton-on-the-water will be kitted out with top-of-the-range exercise machines.

Bourton-on-the-Water will be supplied with new high-tech equipment, whilst the existing equipment will be distributed to the other leisure centres.

The leisure centres will also undergo refurbishment, which includes the installation of TV's and air conditioning units.

£100,000 has been put aside for this ambitious project.

Work will commence in June, with Tetbury scheduled to re-open on July 6 and Bourton-on-the-Water being unveiled on 11 July.
