THE Royal International Air Tattoo will be moved forward a week in 2012 after organisers agreed to help another airshow in London whose event collided with the Olympics.
The Farnborough International Airshow had originally planned to hold its biennial airshow in the week of July 16-22, but organisers feared there would be no accommodation and other vital services available so close to the Olympic opening ceremony and moved their dates forward a week.
Air Tattoo bosses agreed to move their event forward as well to ensure the airshows do not overlap.
