A GRAFFITI artist struck a Cotswolds town last week stenciling the Batman symbol over property and cars.
The caped crusader’s logo was daubed on a white background on a garage and another house on Hatherop Road, at least two vehicles parked on John Tame Close, and by the entrances to Lloyds TSB and Boots.
All the images were made overnight on Wednesday, January 14.
Police are taking the graffiti seriously and are reminding residents of the town they could claim a reward for any information that leads to an arrest.
Paul Francis, crime reduction officer for Gloucestershire police said: "This graffiti is not only unslightly but costs each one of us money to remove.
"If it is not cleared away it encourages other people to add their tags as well, and could lead to a spiral of decline for an area, where people think it's okay to drop litter and commit more serious offences like smashing windows and breaking into cars.
"We encourage anyone with information to get in contact with us by either ringing our non-emergency number or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111."
