A STOLEN van was severely damaged by fire in Cherington yesterday.
The vehicle was found in the fishing car park at Cherington Lake at 5.49pm and dealt with by crews from Tetbury and Nailsworth, who used two hose reels and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the blaze in 15 minutes.
The white Ford Ranger Pick-Up was stolen from a property in Minchinhampton on November 20.
Police are treating the incident as suspected arson and asking anyone with any information to call 0845 090 1234 quoting incident 401 of November 30.
