A 19-year-old man has been arrested after a police drug bust in one of the Cotswolds most picturesque villages uncovered some suspicious evidence last week.

Camron Taylor, of Copse Hill Road, Lower Slaughter, has been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine and cannabis and being in possession of criminal property.

The charges relate to a warrant that was executed in Lower Slaughter on Thursday, May 2 by officers from the Vanguard and Cotswolds Neighbourhood Policing teams.

The quaint village attracts hundreds of tourists every year and is known for its honey-coloured stone cottages and stunning riverside views.

Taylor has been released on bail and is due to appear at Gloucester Crown Court on Tuesday, May 28.
