AN ALERT has been issued after several items were stolen from vehicles in Kemble over the weekend.

A power pack was stolen from the glove box of an unlocked vehicle (incident number 180) parked in The Oaks, Kemble at around 3.45pm on Saturday, January 6. 

£65 in cash was also stolen from another unlocked vehicle (incident number 313) parked in Station Road, Kemble on the same day.

Police officers would like to hear from anyone who has witnessed any suspicious activity in the area.

Information can be provided by completing an online form on Gloucestershire police's website quoting incident numbers 180 or 313 of January 6.

A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Constabulary said: "We would like to remind residents to keep vehicles locked at all times.

"Any items that cannot be removed from vehicles should be stowed away within the boot and kept hidden from sight.
 
"If you have a car that has keyless entry, please make it harder for thieves to copy the signal.

"RFID signal blockers are recommended, these signal blockers can also protect your mobile phone, bank cards and passports.
