POLICE have launched an appeal following an alleged hit-and-run crash on Christmas Day near Royal Wootton Bassett. 

A car flipped onto its roof during the collision in White Way, Broad Town at around 5.15pm on Monday, December 25. 

A spokesperson from Wiltshire Police said a silver Hatchback failed to stop at the scene after driving in a “careless manner”. 

They are now requesting any footage of the incident. 

A police spokesperson said in a statement on social media: “On 25 December 2023 at around 5.15pm on  White Way, Broad Town a road traffic collision occurred. 

“It has been alleged a silver Hatchback has failed to stop at the scene after driving in a careless manner causing another vehicle to flip onto its roof.

“We are seeking for any members of the public with ring doorbell footage that may have captured the incident or alternatively any other passers-by that may have witnessed the road traffic collision to contact 101 quoting reference 54230136416.”
