TWO vehicles caught fire at a property in Tetbury this morning. 

Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service were called to a report of a car fire in Gumstool Hill, Tetbury at around 11.30am on Thursday, September 14.

Residents could see huge clouds of dark grey smokes billowing above the scene. 

Two fire engines were sent to the scene and firefighters used two hose reels and four breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.

A car and a van were destroyed by the fire and there was also some external damage to the property.

A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called at 11.30am to reports of a van fire in Gumstool Hill in Tetbury.

“The initial fire had also spread to a car and a nearby property.

“Two fire engines, from Stroud and Dursley, were sent to the scene and two hose reels and four breathing apparatus were used to extinguish the fire. 

"The stop message was received at 12.45pm.”
