A SCOUT hut in South Cerney has been given a new lease of life following a revamp.

The building now has a new roof thanks to a donation from Russell Roof Tiles, which was organised by developer Wain Homes which built the Saxon Meadows development

The facility is currently used by children and teenagers between the ages of 6 and 14 through Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts groups.

Rhodri Jones sales executive at Russell Roof Tiles said: "We were delighted to help out with the reroofing project at the Scout Hut, and to show support for Wain Homes and the local community.”

"We have developed a close relationship with Wain Homes over the years, having been specified for the majority of their recent housing projects.”
