A WELL-KNOWN children's TV presenter was spotted buying glasses at an independent opticians in a Wiltshire town yesterday.
Various fans have spotted TV presenter, broadcaster and author Timmy Mallett visiting various places in Malmesbury over the last few days.
Timmy has presented a plethora of legendary children's shows including Utterly Brilliant, Way to Go and Timmy Towers.
He is well-known for his striking visual styles, his iconic catchphrases such as 'utterly brilliant' and 'blaaah', and most importantly for his colourful glasses.
The presenter popped into Malmesbury Opticians yesterday (July 12) and added a new pair of specs to his growing collection.
Malmesbury Opticians shared some pictures of this exciting visit on their Facebook page with the caption: "And the word of the day is…spectacles.
"It was my absolute pleasure to dispense spectacles for the one and only @timmy.mallett today.
"I have always admired his bold taste in glasses and feel honoured to have added to the collection."
The presenter also visited Malmesbury Abbey on Tuesday (July 11) and posted a video on his Facebook account showing his followers a Vulgate Refectory Bible Volume 3 from 1447.
