A FORMAL hearing will be held in mid June following the first review of a pub licence in Malmesbury.
The Guildhall Bar in Oxford Street has been linked to a series of late night incidents in the town, including a serious brawl in March that left seven people injured and resulted in several arrests.
A notice posted outside the pub alleges sales of alcohol to underage drinkers and lewd behaviour on the premises.
Police have asked North Wiltshire District Council to hold the review, which could result in the bar being shut for up to two months to get its house in order.
Interested parties, including residents and customers can contact the licensing officer to make their views known and the full application by the police can be seen at the Monkton Park council offices.
A formal hearing will be held next month at which councillors from other parts of the district will make a decision.
