Win a delicious afternoon tea for six!

To mark Afternoon Tea Week, Pettifers Hotel near Malmesbury is offering Standard readers the chance to win a treat for you and five friends.

Afternoon tea at Pettifers consists of finger sandwiches, homemade Gloucester Old Spot sausage rolls plus Bakewell tart, vanilla egg custard, meringue kisses and of course scones with lashings of jam and clotted cream.

To enter our competition see page 12 of today’s Wilts & Gloucestershire Standard – but hurry as the closing date for entries is this Sunday!

A great British tradition, afternoon tea is the perfect excuse to catch up with loved ones over a cuppa and some exquisite treats.

Pettifers is a beautiful 16th century Cotswold hotel in a great location near the Cotswold Water Park and Westonbirt Arboretum.

Frank Sergrave-Daly and his wife Lynne have owned the hotel since 2007 but took back the running of the venue in May last year, renaming it back to Pettifers.

An all new menu has been created by returning head chef James Gilbert and hotel manager Lottie Harris.

The hotel has been given a modern classic facelift with an open place entrance, bar and bistro restaurant servicing 22 individual rooms and a large function room.

They recently celebrated an official opening of the business with TV gardening expert Daisy Payne.
