Delays at Swindon station after person is hit by a train
There are delays and cancellations onthe rail network after a person was hit by a train.
National Rail is expecting disruption until 6pm after a person was hit between Bath Spa and Bristol Temple Meads.
The Great Western Railway website states: "Due to a person hit by a train between Bath Spa and Bristol Temple Meads the line towards Bath Spa is closed.
"Train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised. Disruption is expected until 18:00 31/08.
"Customers are advised to use local buses where possible."
