I THOUGHT we played pretty well and passed the ball well - we just missed our chances.

We had two great ones, for Luke and Snaky, within the first two minutes.

Then their fantastic 30-yard goal rocked us.

I was disappointed with the second goal because their centre forward was much quicker to react than our defence. He must have dived from 15 yards to head it in.

Alex almost broke the bar with his penalty miss and we had other chances late on to snatch a draw but, as they say, goals win games.

It's plain for all to see that our main problem is in front of goal. Our goals tally tells you that and we should have scored double the number we have, Now a lack of confidence is creeping in.

It is not only the strikers' fault - there are no goals coming form midfield, either and, worryingly, our defence, which had previously looked so soild, has started to leak some goals.

The suspensions are starting to mount up, too.

I can't condone the Moly challenge which got him sent off. He has let himself and the club down and will now miss four games - three because of suspension and the Gloucester City game because it clashes with one of his Hartpury College matches.

Like Moly, Nick Stanley (ban after five yellows) and Bully will receive disciplinary fines.

In fact, Bully was a little fortunate that he didn't get sent off again with late on. He is very much a confidence player and he just needs to take that chill pill at the moment.

We've not had the date of his ban yet but if it is one game, there will be no trouble getting a good keeper to cover.

We have to stay positive as a group. I still believe they have a lot to give, but they have to stick together.

I can't understand some of the negativity around the club. It's as if we are in the relegation zone with two games to go. In fact, there is a lot of football still to be played.

Oggy and I decided to let Luke Hopper go back to Chippenham at the end of the game and we have brought in Chris Davis on a non-contract basis from Forest Green.

Luke fitted in well with the lads and we got two wins in his first two games, but he has found it more difficult since.

Chris gives us something different as he is small and very quick.

We may think Snaky is fast but I think Chris is on another level.

He has good movement, he gets his shots away early and he has a few tricks. He also seems a nice lad.
