WE were extremely poor and it was compounded by the fact that we will now probably lose Bully for the Chippenham game over his red card.

Although, the Academy lad Adam Miller did very well when he came on, making some good saves both in the first and second half, I think we will have to look to bring in a senior goalie on loan for that one game.

I sat in the stand tonight and let Oggy take the team and I felt sorry for him.

I've had all the senior players in for 40 minutes afterwards - their biggest dressing down of the season - because I won't have players who just turn up and throw the towel in You can talk about tactics all day long, but if you haven't got the attitude and desire you will be beaten by a bunch of 16-year-olds, which is not acceptable.

With a better striker, Bristol could have been 7-0 up at half time.

We kept our shape better in the second half, even with 10 men. Snaky worked his socks off and we were still a bit of a threat. Miller did well, young Sean Bailey impressed me again and we had had another scholar, Paul Bains, on the bench.

But the Academy lads are not the problem - it is the main squad.

Oggy and I are here to win football matches. There was a losing mentality last season and we have now lost three on the spin.

I think the players got carried away by their two wins against Rugby and Brackley - I didn't.

There are some players that we thought would be up to the mark who clearly are not.

We are hopeful that Chrissie Collins and Jacko will be fit for Saturday. Moly was rested tonight and he will be back, along with the other Hartpury College lad Matt Shaxton.

Hopefully, there will be another body in on loan by the weekend. Chris Thompson of Gloucester trained with us last week but has opted to join Supermarine instead. But we do have another iron in the fire, so it will be like having almost half a new team on Saturday which would give us a big boost.

It is now a critical stage of the season - it could make or break us. The game against Cheshunt is our biggest game so far and we need to come back from there having not lost.

the fact that we have shipped six goals in the last three games worries me because we do not score enough.

The younger lads in the first team squad can't go back to the Academy now. They need to be men or they are no use to me.

But my bedrock players are not on form at the minute which is a concern, too. They need to get their heads down and play themselves back to form.
