ANTI-BULLYING and online safety workshops for children across the county has been heralded a success.

Stay Safe Workshops are teaching kids to protect themselves from bullying, keeping safe while exploring the 'online world' and how to stay safe when out and about on their own.

The workshops aim to give children the opportunity to learn a wide range of mental and physical skills to keep them safe, give them confidence and more knowledge.

As well as the workshops, they have even helped schools set up and run successful pupil mentoring programmes called Stay Safe! Mentors.

Stay Safe Workshops have recently relocated to Malmesbury, to allow them to work with school in both Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.

They have already successfully started work over the last couple of years, going to Ann Edwards School in South Cerney, Oliver Tomkins Junior School in Swindon and St Marys C of E Primary in Purton.

The workshops have already received rave reviews from schools.

Faye Sheldon, teacher at Ann Edwards School commented after a workshop: "I just wanted to say a huge thank you for today!

"Thank you for being so organised and adaptable prior to the event and throughout the day.

"The children absolutely loved the workshop.

"It was extremely informative and pitched at the perfect level.

"Many staff have commented on how enjoyable, yet factual it was.

"I’m so pleased the parent workshop was a success too.

"We will see you next year for a similar sort of event."
