SHOP owners in Malmesbury are celebrating their one year anniversary this Friday, August 17.

Tom and Anne Bowerman are holding a day of celebration in the store to mark one year since they took over the The Wild Food Co in the town.

In the past year, the pair have worked hard to focus on products that reduce or completely remove single use plastics and to introduce more environmentally friendly options for customers.

Tom said: "I’ve been helped in the running of the business by my wife Anne and our part time workers, Alan, Alice, Cole and Grace.

“We’ve been working hard to introduce more environmentally friendly options for our customers, many of which have been suggested by customers themselves.

“Mainly we’ve tried to focus on products that reduce or completely remove single use plastics and products that use biodegradable plant based plastic where necessary.

"Many of our suppliers have kindly provided samples for us to share with our customers, this includes high quality organic and fair trade chocolates, snacks bars, household products and more."

There will be several competitions in store and on their Facebook page, @TheWildFoodCo all through the day.

People can win a range of products including food, environmentally friendly products and vouchers.
