TWO men have been arrested following an immigration visit to an Italian restaurant in Tetbury.
After receiving a tip-off, immigration officers carried out a visit to the to Casa La Cucina Italiana on Long Street, Tetbury on Friday, August 10.
The Home Office said two Albanian men, one aged 25 and the other aged 21, were arrested after checks showed they had entered the country illegally.
Both are now detained pending their removal from the UK.
A spokesman for the Home Office said: "Casa La Cucina Italiana was served a civil penalty referral notice warning, that a financial penalty of up to £20,000 per illegal worker will be imposed unless the employer can demonstrate that appropriate right-to-work document checks were carried out, such as seeing a passport or Home Office document confirming permission to work."
No one from Casa La Cucina Italiana was available for a comment.
