There was an attempted bag snatch in Cirencester last week
POLICE are warning shoppers in Cirencester after an attempted bag snatch last week.
On Wednesday, August 8, the alleged suspect brushed into a woman on the side where she carried her bag.
The suspect made an excuse that she was running to the toilet because she lost her phone, but failed to go to the toilet after.
The bag wasn't taken, but the woman reported the incident as she suspected that the other lady had the intention to snatch her bag.
The suspect was female, and described as being in her early forties, wearing black jeans, a black leather jacket and had black wavy hair just below the shoulder.
