THE Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire.
Thunderstorms are expected to take place between 12pm and 10pm, with heavy showers predicted during this time.
The alert was issued at 10.30am this morning, with the weather forecast provider warning that there is a chance homes and businesses could be flooded.
According to the Met Office, there is also a possibility of delays and cancellations to train and bus services, and a slight chance of power cuts with other services to some homes and businesses also at risk of being affected.
