PARKINSON's UK are hosting a coffee morning in Cricklade.

The charity are inviting people affected by the condition to the coffee mornings on the third Wednesday of every month.

Sally Wood, local development manager at Parkinson’s UK said: “The first Parkinson’s café held at The Club, in June, was a real success.

"It was a lively morning and we all agreed that the cakes were delicious!

"The Club has agreed that we can meet there regularly on the third Wednesday of the month.”

“These coffee mornings offer information, friendship and support to local people with Parkinson's, their families and carers to make sure that no one has to face Parkinson’s alone.

Gatherings will continue to be held at The Cricklade Club, 38 High St, SN6 6AY.

There will be coffee, cake and a chance to talk to other people affected by Pathe disease.

The next cafes will take place on August 15 and September 19, from 10.30am to 11.30am.
