NORTH Wiltshire has been hit by a spate of possible attempted burglaries.
Police have received reports of various suspicious activities in Minety, Oaksey, South Cerney and Ashton Keynes in the past week.
Some of the reports include possible attempted burglaries, people being seen leaving areas after residents have approached them, unknown persons seen in gardens, people selling door to door, and then being abusive when advised residents don’t want to make a purchase and a confirmed burglary.
Wiltshire police have confirmed that officers are aware of the incidents.
Police want to remind people to call 101 if it is in progress or 999 if there is any immediate danger.
They also request that the public not use Facebook to report crimes.
