A SCHOOL in Cricklade held its end of year celebration assembly with a special guest.
Meadowpark School took part in the celebration on Tuesday, July 10, at St Sampson's Church in Cricklade, with guest of honour, author Lottie Prentice, presenter of the award to school children.
Headteacher, Rajvinder Kular said: "Lottie's message for the children was lovely, you can be anything you want to be when you grow up.
"She spoke about the value of a good education and encouraged the children to always try and do their best.
"She emphasised that by trying hard in school, the children will create more choices and opportunities for what they might want to become, adding that is was okay if they changed their mind too!
"Lottie is an inspirational role model as a children's author, solicitor, athlete and mother of three, and we were honoured to have her with us for our Celebration Assembly."
