FUNDS are needed to complete renovation for The Big Yellow Bus Project in which a double decker will be converted into a safe shelter for the homeless. The project aims to tackle and bring awareness to the homeless situation that Cirencester is currently faced with.
The bus is 95 per cent finished, and air vents and anti slip vinyl flooring is set to be installed with enough funding.
Visitors at the Cotswold Show showed overwhelming support for the project at the and a great interest in the project was shown, with many young people asking how they can contribute and help the homeless in their communities.
Part of the project involves offering support and helping and retraining the homeless get back on their feet and back into mainstream society.
Donations and funds are needed from the public to raise money for materials that will be used to fully complete the bus at the highest possible standards.
Sponsorships and support of the project are also needed to raise sufficient funds and fully complete the bus.
