CIRENCESTER Signpost held its annual summer day trip with a visit to Weston-Super-Mare on Saturday, July 7.

Over 100 people enjoyed all that the seaside town has to offer on a sunny day with many families spending the day on the beach and the pier.

The charity reaches out to all in the community, coming alongside those for whom life may present challenges and journeying with them to a brighter future offering hope and dignity.

Chairperson Graham Harris explained: "We chose the seaside as it offers something for everyone as the age range at Signpost starts at two months all the way to age 92.

"It was a joy to see all the happy faces. We are acutely aware that financial challenges and a lack of access to transport means that a family day out to the seaside is beyond the means for many in our town.

"We are grateful to Cirencester Rotary, who funded the coach travel and made this wonderful day possible for so many".
