AN exciting new drawing workshop is coming to Cirencester.
A three hour drawing workshop for adults will commence on Monday, July 23 and will give community artists a chance to draw objects from the museum’s collection.
Everyone is welcome and no previous drawing experience is necessary.
Gentle guidance will also be offered.
The objects available range from early pre-history to medieval periods.
James Harris, collections officer and workshop leader said: “A lot can be learned about an object during the intimate study that comes from drawing an object.”
Alison Goodall, who attended a previous drawing workshop at Corinium Museum, added: “This was a really unique opportunity to handle objects and look at them in a different way.
"I enjoyed experimenting with different media.”
The workshop is £15 or £12 for Corinium Museum members.
