CIRENCESTER Theatre Company performed sell out shows of Brassed Off at the Sundial Theatre.

A gritty drama about miners in the 90's, was accompanied with rousing music provided by Cirencester Band during performances last week.

A Spokeswoman for Cirencester Theatre Company said: "This is the first time we have performed at the Sundial and we all feel it was a great success."

On social media, the show received fantastic feedback.

Sarah Bathurst said: "Went to the Sundial Theatre to see the preview performance of ‘Brassed Off’ this evening.

"Fabulous play, really well performed, great fun and what a fantastic collaboration with Cirencester Town Band.

"Thoroughly enjoyed it and I understand the two nights performances are sold out. if going, you’re in for a treat.

"Congratulations to all the crew, cast and director and a special mention for Tim Wainwright, who has never done stage work before and was brilliant!
