ENGLAND fans in bars around Hereford cheered England to the rafters as the national team powered to a 6-1 over Panama.

Customers in The Imperial in Widemarsh Street watched the fiery World Cup game on a big-screen television, and the pub erupted with each England goal scored.

The Three Lions booked their place in the last 16 after the group game that saw Panama adopt a bruising and grappling approach to the contest in Russia's Nizhny Novgorod Stadium.

The Imperial has set up a huge high-definition projector in its gardens so fans can watch matches with an outdoors atmosphere.

England's next game is against Belgium on Thursday. Kick-off is at 7pm.
