A 13-YEAR-OLD Cirencester pupil has been selected to represent England in Archery.

Chloe A'Bear, a year eight pupil from Cirencester Kingshill School, has been selected to shoot for England at the Junior Nationals Archery Tournament in Lilleshall.

Chloe is a member of the Shurdington based Deer Park Archers team.

She has already won British Championship titles and competed successfully at top national level adult competitions.

A member of the Great Britain Development Squad, Chloe has been selected to shoot for England at the National Championships later this summer.

Steph Gill, Chloe's coach at Deer Park Archers said: “Chloe is a joy to work with, takes full ownership of her shooting, always seeking to improve and is a popular member of the club.

"We are proud that she is succeeding in so many ways.

"Chloe’s achievements are remarkable, not just because of her progress at such a young age but because of her incredible determination to succeed despite numerous setbacks and bow style changes.

"This has given her a robustness, which combined with a superb work ethic and supportive coaches and family has established her as one of the best young Archers in the UK.”

Chloe will now compete in the Home Nations match, which is part of the Junior Nationals at Lilleshall, in July.
