Emergency services were on the scene of a multiple vehicle crash on the ausing delays of up to 60 minutes.
Two lanes and the northbound entry slip road were closed between Junction nine (Tewkesbury) and eight (M50) on the M5 northbound.
Traffic is expected to ease.
