Chedworth

CHEDWORTH Silver Band played at the RAF 100 event at Rendcomb Airfield on Sunday, June 3. The band managed to start playing the RAF March Past just as the Battle of Britain memorial flight Lancaster flew over.

The Band is interested to hear if anyone got video footage of the Lancaster flying over as the Band started playing as it was one of those magic moments, where they rehearse the music for weeks and then have to judge exactly when the Lancaster is exactly two seconds away from being overhead.

The Band thinks they hit the marks exactly but video confirmation would be great.  Please PM or email david.broad@mail.com if you have any video you can share.

CHEDWORTH Silver Bands next engagement  will be playing in the gardens at Stowell Park on Sunday, June 24. The Band will be playing from 2.30pm.
