Pupils of North Cerney C of E Primary Academy have raised £454.50 for The Readathon charity.
Children were tasked during the readathon with reading as many books as possible over the Easter holidays and collected sponsorship on the way.
The Readathon charity provides a regular supply of brand new books and storyteller visits to children in all of the UK’s main children’s hospitals.
North Cerney is a fairly small school who has around 60 pupils which emphasises how well they've done to raise so much money.
Suki Pascoe, Executive Head teacher said: "We are so proud of the children for raising such a lot of money for Readathon. Our children love to read and this was clearly shown through their successful fundraising."
