A CIRENCESTER interior designer and TV personality will pucker up for a MS Society auction

A signed ‘kiss card’ from Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen will be up for grabs this week in a new auction, designed to raise money for MS research.

Singers Olly Murs and Rita Ora as well as Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams are among a host of celebrities to participate in the auction.

Fans have until Thursday, May 24, to bid for a single card from their favourite stars.

Each of the celebrities has kissed a card with lipstick, or drawn one using pens, with some adding extra doodles to make them truly special.

Radio DJ Scott Mills’ tasty addition was a Worcester sauce kiss, and comedian Katherine Ryan got artistic with glitter.

All money raised from the auction will go towards research for MS, which affects more than 100,000 people in the UK.

Singer and BBC Radio 1 presenter Mollie King, who has her own card in the auction, said: “MS is an unpredictable condition but it’s great to know the MS Society is driving research into more, and better treatments.

“As well as helping raise a bit of cash, this will hopefully gain some exposure for the amazing work happening in MS research.

“And who knows, bidding on a card could help us see those breakthroughs sooner.”

Michelle Mitchell, chief executive of the MS Society, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to all the celebrities who’ve taken the time to design a card for our auction.

“As well as creating some very special gifts, every penny raised from these cards will help us to fund vital research into MS, which affects over 100,000 people in the UK.”

The auction is now live.
