The Conservative MP for the Cotswolds officially opened a new nursing and care home in Cirencester.
Sir Geoffrey Clifton-Brown, opened the new Stratton Court Village operated by Aura Care Living on Friday May 11.
Now open for residential care, dementia care and nursing care, the home can accommodate both respite and permanent residents.
Sir Geoffrey commented that, “this is one of the finest care homes I have ever visited,” and suggested that it is more like a caring hotel.
There is a host of activities arranged throughout the week by the activities curator, Heather.
Activities range from personalised one to one time to group activities such as planting and ‘picking your own Pimms’.
If you would rather not participate, there are relaxing lounges, activity areas and plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy.
