AN ANNUAL garden festival near Cirencester will be taking place this weekend.
Barnsley village garden festival will be hosting the annual event for the 30th year.
The village of Barnsley will open the village and their gardens including Barnsley House for people to enjoy.
Bringing the community together, raising money for the upkeep of the village and raising money for community charities are some of the aims of the festival.
Judges will be awarding prizes to the best village open gardens.
There will be plenty of entertainment throughout the day from barbecue's to bell ringing and maypole dancing.
The festival will take place on Saturday May 19 from 10.30am to 5pm.
Garden passports are £7, while children under 14 go free.
