VILLAGERS in Coates near Cirencester got into the Royal Wedding spirit early by turning their monthly Community, Coffee, Cake & Chat in the village hall on Tuesday into a Royal Wedding special celebration.
Jan Edmonds, who organises the event, said: "Our monthly coffee morning brings all cross sections of the community together and this time we thought we would make it a little bit special and a bit of fun with a Royal theme."
Decorations will be staying up in Coates, as the village will be pulling out the stops on Saturday, with an event at the village hall.
From 5pm till late there will be open air music, a BBQ, mini beer festival, tuck shop, bar, tombola and a hat competition at the village hall.
