CHEDWORTH Silver Band will be performing at Purton Village Hall this Saturday, March 28 at a concert in aid of Purton Methodist Church. The concert commences at 7.30 pm.

THE Chedworth Roman Trail 10 mile run has been postponed to the 2nd of September. Prior to that there is the six mile Chedworth Midsummer Run, on Thursday, June 21 at 7 pm.
A trail run around an extremely scenic route comprising tracks and woodland, a river crossing (bridge) and a very short section of road starting and finishing at Chedworth Cricket club where refreshments BBQ and toilets will be available. See chedworthruns.com.
CHEDWORTH Parish Council is working to tidy up the council owned area by the Tennis Courts. Councillors have cleared an old fence from the area opposite valley view and the grass and footpath disturbed by the electrical connection to the mobile phone pole should be restored
soon.
CHEDWORTH Cricket Club have a home warm up match against Cheltenham Cricket Club’s 3rd eleven at the Beech Walk ground this Saturday, April 28 commencing at 2 pm.
THE Parish Council First Aid sessions continue at the Village Hall next Wednesday, May 2 at 7.30 pm. The courses are spread over two two hour sessions. If there is sufficient demand the
Parish Council may run further sessions.
CHEDWORTH Village Hall’s bookings system is being changed with the website chedworthvillagehall.co.uk moving to 1&1 hosting with the consequent abandonment of the old @live.com email.

CHEDWORTH Silver Band is seeking new members, especially Cornet players. The Band is also starting learners sessions shortly and seeking expressions of interest in learners sessions before deciding on the optimum times for the sessions.
