TRIBUTES have come in after a South Cerney resident died last night.
Steven Eric Smart, aged 66, died in Southmead Hospital after he was seriously injured in a crash on the A417, near the Cowley roundabout on March 27.
His family have released a tribute.
"Steven loved sport, having played cricket and football in his younger days.
"He was also an avid fisherman who regularly coached children and people with disabilities in the art of fishing.
"He’s going to be a great loss to his loving family, the village in which he lived, and the fisherman’s club he was a member of.
"Steven was a man who asked for little, but deserved so much more.
"He was one of life’s good guys, taken far too soon."
