THE Dolphins AGM is being held on Thursday, April 26 at the Dolphins Hall,New Church Street at 7pm although applications closed for new Trustees on March 29. This is open to the public and you can come along and find out all the exciting and positive things now going ahead including the extension and refurbishment.

THURSDAY, April 26 you can watch A Royal Night Out starting at 7.30pm at the Tetbury Good Shed Art Centre. A Royal Night Out is an affectionate ‘what-if’ story about the adventures Elizabeth and Margaret might have had on the joyous night that brought the whole of London together. 12A certificate. Tickets available on the door.

THERE will be a Bingo night on April 28 at the Dolphins Hall 5-8pm. £8 and will include traditional fish and chip supper from Serena Vater and her Tetbury Fish & Chips Team.

THE members of The Monday Club have been knitting. They recently presented Tara, deputy clerk of Tetbury Town Council, with over 400 poppies. These will join thousands of others and will decorate the market Hall and the gates of St Marys’ and St Saviour’s churches in Tetbury in November this year, when we mark 100 years since the end of the First World War.

THE first police open surgery meeting in May is Thursday, May 3 from 2-3pm at the Tetbury Town Council offices, The Old Courthouse,63 Long Street, Tetbury.

ALL are invited to come and find out about Forest Church “a group of people, outside, connecting with nature and worshipping God” from Rev Cate Williams Mission and Evangelism Officer, Christ Church, Tetbury on Tuesday,ay 1 at 7.30pm at Christ Church, The Chipping, Tetbury.

Cate will share her experience of leading a Forest Church group at Robinswood Hill, Gloucester. This will be an introductory talk and conversation about Forest Church, open to all, to explore how a similar venture might start for people in Tetbury. COMEDY at The Goods Shed makes a welcome return on May 4. Opening the evening will be Tewkesbury’s Jon Wagstaffe an award-winning comedian who has taken well-received shows to Edinburgh and runs several comedy nights in Cheltenham and Tewkesbury. Headliner, Cally Beaton, is a successful businesswoman, trainer and mother. She’s also an outstanding comedian. Her act is a rollercoaster ride of anecdotes and observations. Also performing will be Marti, described as being "hilariously naive”. Your host for the evening will be Tetbury’s very own Matt Roseblade.
